バイト先に彼氏いない歴25年らしい大人しい子がいた。
局の子にお昼おごらされたり、派遣社員の子から高額なマルチ商法の商品買わされたりしてた。
皆が「アイツはお人好しだから何言っても絶対断らない」と
学生のイジメのようにバカにして嫌な事押し付けたりしていた。
もともとその子を優しくて良い女だと好感を抱いていた上に
この子なら断らないかもと思った俺は彼女を休日に食事に誘ってみた。
生まれて初めて女性からOKをもらい、嬉しくて店を色々調べて下準備し、
当日は思いきりお洒落してピカピカに洗った車で迎えに行き、
頑張って話を盛り上げてご飯を御馳走し、家まで送り届けた。
とても楽しくて何度も誘った。彼女も楽しんでくれていると思った。
段々好きになって今度告白しようと決心して食事に誘った時、
「本当はずっと嫌だった。もう誘わないで欲しい」と言われた。
彼女の顔は気の毒になる位必死だった。きっと決死の思いで言ったのだろう。
「ほら～！麻衣、ちゃんと断れるじゃないですか！今度から嫌な事頼まれたら、
今みたいにビシッと言えよ！俺、ずっと麻衣が何言っても断れないの、心配したよ！」
と、俺は泣き出しそうなのをこらえて出来るだけ明るく元気に取り繕った。
彼女はとてもホッとしたような顔をして何度も俺にお礼を言った。
俺から好かれている訳じゃない事がわかって、そんなに嬉しかったのかな。
昨日の話です。もう色恋は諦めますた。一生童貞でかまいません。
